An Adoptive Parent of HP Students:

HorsePower is an amazing opportunity for our children-especially those with trust/attachment issues!! For some reason, my son (who suffers from RAD), was able to form a bond with his horse. He worked really hard during the week towards a GOAL of seeing his horse. He CARED about his horse!!

My girls learned self confidence and it helped with core strength and balance (for those deprived of food early in their lives, the core is hard to strengthen). I was so impressed with the love and guidance given by the mentors, horse handlers and even those beautiful horses, that I wanted to share our experience with you!!
